Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Kustom Stickers ("we", "us") collects when you use www.kustomstickers.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the shop.

What we collect

• Orders: your email address, the items you buy, the amounts, and the shipping name and address you enter on the payment page. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store your full card number.
• Account: if you create one, your email, an optional name and your password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text), plus your rewards credit and referral link.
• Newsletter and alerts: your email when you sign up for the newsletter or ask to be told when a sticker is back in stock.
• Technical data: your IP address and browser type, stored with each sign-in session and used to keep the site secure and to stop abuse, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the shop needs to work. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in (for up to 30 days, renewed while you use the site).
• A currency cookie remembers whether you shop in USD or CAD.
• A referral cookie remembers, for 30 days, the friend whose link brought you here, so they can get their credit.
• Your cart and a few preferences (like having seen the newsletter card) are kept in your own browser's storage.

How we use it

• To process, ship and support your orders, and to send order confirmations and service emails.
• To run your account, rewards and referrals.
• To send the newsletter, only if you signed up. To stop it, email kustomstickersapp@gmail.com and we'll remove you.
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with the services that run the shop for us, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe processes payments and collects your shipping address.
• Amazon Web Services hosts the site and its images and sends our emails.
• Neon hosts our database.
• Shipping carriers receive your name and address to deliver your order.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our customers.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Newsletter and back-in-stock emails are kept until you unsubscribe or the alert has been sent. Sign-in sessions (with their IP address and browser) end after 30 days without use or when you sign out.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing kustomstickersapp@gmail.com. Some records (such as past orders) may have to be kept for legal reasons, but we'll tell you what and why. Depending on where you live (for example California, Canada or the European Union), you may have further rights under local privacy laws, and you can contact your local data protection authority.

You can stop the newsletter at any time by emailing kustomstickersapp@gmail.com.

Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. We rely on their security and privacy commitments to protect it.

Security

Connections to the site are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and access to our systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

Children

The shop is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
